I have a coworker who texted me about this a couple of hours ago. I am so sick of this crap -- I don't understand when kids are going to stop shooting at each other. I hope and pray that someone will learn something from this, but I don't think that will happen. Thank God no one was killed.
The shooting occurred outside the high school where I teach. There was a basketball game going on, and then apparently a silver truck pulled up to the school and opened fire. Five males were shot.
The assumption is that this is gang related.

The story made CNN, and not just down the page under local stuff, high up in "Latest News".
And I guess the *good* news is that none of the kids were attending your school. Or so says the Tribune. But I wonder if it could be that some used to attend.
